David Bonom
Biography
As is clear from his professional title, Bonom wears many hats in the culinary world. His career started at Union Square Café in 1993. From there, he worked for some of New York City’s best restaurants and catering companies, eventually establishing himself in publishing as the test kitchen director for OneBigTable.com, and later, as the test kitchen director for Woman’s World Magazine. In addition to his work in publishing, Bonom also holds a CCP (Certified Culinary Professional) designation, as well as a bachelor's in fine arts from the New York Institute of Technology, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Bonom is a former board member for the IACP, one of the most prestigious culinary associations in the world. His recipes have been featured in such food publications as Cooking Light, Better Homes & Gardens, Fine Cooking, Relish, Prevention, Coastal Living, Health, Self, Weight Watchers, Eating Well and Everyday with Rachael Ray.
